It was so good to see you and to make new friends! We had storytelling in the School House, photo opps galore, costumes to try-on, an honest to goodness Apple Press, Blacksmiths and wood craftsman. There was plenty for the kiddos to do as well with candle making, cornhusk dolls, bucket building, rope making, pioneer games, handcart push and refreshments too. A special shoutout goes to Stubbs Farms who brought a trailer full of perfectly shaped pumpkins, squash & potatoes to sell! The D.U.P. even opened up their quilt vault to sell some of their wares as well. There was a true feeling of community, just like the pioneers experienced after their harvest when everyone came together in celebration of the hard work they had done. Thanks to everyone who came to our Autumn Harvest event and shared in the fun!
