Utah History Comes to Life – Teachers Reserve Spring Tours!
It’s no secret that our engaging portrayal of the Provo experience can enhance your Utah Studies curriculum. Provo Pioneer Village is located on the original site of the second fort built in Provo (600 North 500 West) and features historical buildings from Provo and other Utah locations. Our volunteer personnel are experienced in presenting the Pioneer History of our area in a youth-friendly way that captivates and teaches about the history and unique lives of early Utah pioneers.
We’re taking reservations for April 2026 and May 2026. To reserve a tour, please make an appointment at least two weeks in advance by completing our online form (link below). This allows us to welcome your group separately from other visitors and at a time convenient for you. There is no charge for your visit, but we are a non-profit group and ask for a voluntary donation to help our tours continue into the future. To reserve your tour CLICK HERE for our 2025-2026 School Tour Request form
At least an hour should be planned to be able to see the displays, 90 minutes is required to participate in guided tours and activities. We offer pioneer games, handcarts, a scavenger hunt, and other hands-on activities. So come make a day of it at the Provo Pioneer Village! A pavilion is nearby at North Park for large groups to comfortably eat bag lunches. The Daughters of the Utah Pioneers Museum is also available for tours (their contact info is on the request form). We can accommodate groups of up to 50; If you schedule an appointment with the museum for the same time, we can split larger groups and rotate between the two sites. Once we have your completed request form we will respond quickly to coordinate all the details. Thanks!
